Captain Inderjit Arora
IJ serves as QMII’s lead consultant, assisting clients to achieve their objectives of using process based management systems to build efficiency and ensure continual improvement. IJ holds a Doctorate in the Process-Based Approach to Leadership and is a certified ISO 9001 lead auditor with Exemplar Global.
IJ’s expertise includes ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 28000
, ISO 9001, AS9100, ISPS and ISM Code among others. He specializes in the training of top management and preparing them for leadership roles including within the maritime industry and the military. His extensive maritime background with over 35 years combined experience in the Indian Navy, Commercial Merchant Marine and as a VP of a large Maritime Flag Administration make him a sought after speaker and consultant. He has lectured in several universities and institutions in the US and abroad on process-based management systems, conflict resolution, effective communication, root cause analysis, causal analysis, FMEA, mistake proofing and problem solving, and other leadership and system subjects.
IJ completed his MBA from The College of William & Mary and has studied International Transportation at the Old Dominion University, Norfolk. He is also a graduate from the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) and was a member of the Board of Examiners for the Malcom Baldrige Quality Award in 2013. He is a member of the US Technical Advisory Group (TAG) 176.
A former seagoing officer with extensive experience on supertankers and a senior executive with 20 years of industry experience, Julius leads the operations at QMII. He has worked with and assisted organizations of varied sizes across a wide spectrum of industries. He is well versed in the disciplines of maritime safety/security, aerospace, environmental, supply chain security, and quality standards. He teaches, consults and audits in these disciplines, including Designated Person, Problem Solving, Conflict Management and Awareness Leaders courses.
Julius received his MBA from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia. He is a PECB Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and is a member of the Nautical Institute and the American Society for Quality.
Anjalika has over the years developed a keen intuitive sense that coupled with her management skills, makes her a great asset to QMII. Anjalika streamlined the instructor approval process to align with QMII’s growth plan resulting in a quicker approval process without loss in quality.
Prior to joining QMII, Anjalika worked in a number of roles within the media and entertainment industry. A key achievement of her career was being selected as an assistant director for a movie. Anjalika also completed a short course at the New York Film Academy.
Since joining our team, Anjalika has successful taken on progressive roles including media management, supporting business development and assisting on consultations and audits. She is well versed in the process-based management approach, EMS, ISPS and ISM training.
Anjalika possesses exceptional managerial skills with the ability to ensure goals are met in a timely fashion. She is also a PECB certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
Rose comes to QMII with over 25 years of sales and educational consulting experience. Previously, Rose served as a VP of International Sales for Inter-bank. In 2000, she represented Infocomm as the International Education and Membership Manager for North, Central, South America and Canada for engineers in Audio Visual and Communications skills. Rose worked alongside Presidents and CEOs of corporations and universities worldwide.
Rose has received many awards and been highly recognized (both locally and internationally) throughout her career. Rose is fluent in several languages including English, Italian, Portuguese, French, Greek and Spanish. This enables her to better appreciate and meet client objectives and expectations from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Kathryn coordinates with our clients for training logistics and handles all course administration, providing support to instructors, students and consultants in the field.
After attending Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech, Kathryn began her professional career with a prominent defense systems developer and manufacturer, working in logistics, primarily on government contracts. Most recently she worked as a human resources administrator for an international company allowing her to cultivate a passion for new cultural experiences and learning new languages.
Kathryn uses her excellent communication skills, pragmatic creativity and fervor for organization to help streamline processes and maintain an impeccable standard of care and service for our clients.
Virginia oversees creation, maintenance and publication of our training materials and control of our business system documents. She has also developed and lead team building and conflict management workshops. She works remotely our of her home office in PA.
Virginia has a BS in Psychology and completed coursework for an MS in Community Psychology and Social change. Outside of work, Virginia has a passion for making pottery and jewelry.
Peter is an accomplished communications professional, bringing over 30 years of experience to QMII client programs. He is a senior trainer and consultant at QMII.
Peter served in the United States Navy as an air traffic controller. Upon returning to civilian life, Peter completed his undergraduate degree in business and a master’s degree in mass communication. His career includes 25 years working in the telecommunications industry. Peter also brings real estate experience with a focus on smart homes and sustainable building designs.
Peter holds a BS in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MA in Communications from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree from the Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability, at Virginia Tech.
Dave is a consultant, auditor and instructor with Quality Management International, Inc. (QMII) and has over 27 years of honorable military service with the U.S. Coast Guard.
After earning a commission as an Ensign, David served in various positions in the Marine Safety Program. As a LCDR, he served at two Headquarter units, including his last assignment in the Quality Management Division, which was responsible for implementation of the Mission Management System (MMS). The MMS conforms to ISO 9001 International Quality Management System standards, and is currently being used within the Marine Safety and Prevention program to ensure greater program efficiency and effectiveness.
He is a current member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
